Virtual Psychotherapy

Individual Psychotherapy

One-on-one psychotherapy involves a private and confidential session between a therapist and a client, conducted virtually.

During these sessions, clients can expect to explore the root causes of certain patterns evident in their adult behaviors and relationships. After identifying these patterns, various therapeutic techniques are employed to heal the emotional wounds underlying these behaviors. The goal is to help clients shift these patterns, enabling them to lead more fulfilling lives. The approaches used include:

Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)/Attachment-Based Therapy: This approach emphasizes understanding and processing emotions to create healthier emotional responses and improve attachment bonds in relationships. It focuses on helping clients become more aware of their emotions and how they influence their behavior.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)/Family Systems Approach: IFS views the mind as composed of different parts, each with its own perspective and qualities. This approach helps clients understand and integrate these parts to achieve internal harmony. The Family Systems Approach, on the other hand, looks at the family as an emotional unit and examines how family dynamics influence individual behavior.

Inner Child Work: This technique involves addressing and healing the unmet needs and unresolved emotions of one's "inner child," or the part of the psyche that retains the emotions and experiences of childhood. By nurturing and healing the inner child, clients can resolve past traumas and develop healthier patterns.

Sessions typically last about 50 minutes and are scheduled weekly initially, with the frequency potentially decreasing to bi-weekly as progress is made.
